About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max rocking horse features a sleek black abstract form set upon natural wood runners, creating a refined aesthetic. Defined by a stark, geometric silhouette, this rocking horse prioritises form over literal representation. The primary structure is composed of a smooth, black-finished frame that mimics the abstracted shape of a horse, supported by a curved base of natural-toned timber. Small, cylindrical metal accents serve as handles and structural connectors, adding a subtle touch of contrast. The piece balances clean, modern lines with traditional play functionality, making it a sculptural addition to any contemporary interior. Its proportions are compact, ensuring it fits seamlessly into smaller play areas or as a decorative accent.

The download is a 31 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and check the scale against your interior environment. The object is organised by logical naming conventions, allowing for easy selection of the timber base and the black frame for material adjustments. Apply custom wood grain maps to the runners using standard UV mapping workflows to enhance realism. Ensure the pivot point is positioned at the base of the runners to facilitate easy placement on floor surfaces during interior staging or animation sequences.
