Minimalist Beige Fabric and Glass Cylindrical Stool

This minimalist cylindrical stool, modelled in 3ds Max, features a beige fabric seat supported by a translucent glass base structure. This compact cylindrical stool presents a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors. The design consists of a circular, upholstered seat pad finished in a neutral beige fabric, providing a soft texture that contrasts with the hard, transparent quality of the base. The base is constructed from a singular piece of curved glass, forming a seamless cylinder that offers visual lightness and structural stability. Its simple, geometric form makes it a versatile piece, functioning equally well as an occasional seat or a decorative accent element within a refined living space or boutique retail environment.

The download is a 5.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into a scene, ensure the glass material properties are adjusted to suit your specific render engine settings, specifically checking reflection and refraction values. The stool is provided as a single object, allowing for easy placement in interior visualisations. Users should verify the scale against standard seat heights to ensure ergonomic accuracy within the project model. Proper lighting placement is essential to highlight the transparency of the glass base, preventing it from appearing solid or opaque in final renders.
