Mid-Century Walnut TV Cabinet with Two Drawers

This mid-century walnut TV cabinet for 3ds Max features a low-profile design with dual cabinets, central drawers, and open shelving. Defined by clean, linear geometry and a rich walnut grain, this media console captures a refined mid-century aesthetic. The piece rests on slender, angled legs that provide a light, elevated appearance. Its configuration includes two side-hinged cabinets for concealed storage, flanking a central section that combines a shallow open media shelf above two pull-out drawers. The construction emphasises horizontal proportions, making it an ideal anchor for wide-format displays. Every surface showcases the natural warmth of the timber, with integrated hardware that maintains a seamless, minimalist profile across the front-facing panels.

The download is a 2.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer naming to simplify scene management. Users can easily adjust the walnut material mapping using standard UVW unwrap modifiers to ensure grain direction aligns with project requirements. The asset is scaled for immediate insertion into interior scenes, and the geometry is optimised to maintain clean edges during close-up renders. Lighting should be configured to highlight the depth of the walnut texture and the subtle shadows cast by the tapered leg supports.

This console is tailored for contemporary living rooms, media dens, or high-end residential suites. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors or spaces featuring warm, organic palettes. Professionals frequently search for this type of low-profile media storage when designing bespoke entertainment walls or open-plan living areas. It serves as a versatile piece for both staged visualisations and detailed interior documentation, providing a functional yet aesthetically grounded focal point that complements modern flat-screen technology while adding a touch of mid-century character.
