Mid-Century Natural Wood Rattan Lounge Chair Set

This 3ds Max lounge chair set features a mid-century wooden frame with rattan cane webbing and a matching minimalist side table. The lounge chair exhibits a classic mid-century silhouette, defined by its angular timber frame and distinctive V-shaped leg structure. Both the backrest and seat are inset with traditional rattan cane webbing, offering a textural contrast to the smooth, natural-finished wood. Accompanying the seating is a small, cylindrical side table with a fluted base and a circular top. The set presents a cohesive aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors that value organic materials and clean, geometric lines. The proportions are low-slung, prioritising comfort and a relaxed posture for lounge or reading areas.

The download is a 81.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type for efficient scene management. Users should check the pivot points to ensure accurate placement on floor surfaces. The rattan pattern is mapped with high-resolution textures, so maintain the original UVW coordinates when scaling the model to fit specific project requirements. Material slots are clearly labelled, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or stain if needed to match other furniture elements within the architectural visualisation.

This lounge chair and table combination is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading corners in modern libraries. It pairs well with neutral-toned soft furnishings, indoor plants, and floor lamps. Professionals looking for warm, tactile furniture assets will find this set effective for creating inviting, human-centric spaces.
