Zen Garden Landscape Scene with Water Features and Rocks

This Zen garden landscape scene for 3ds Max features three curated outdoor areas with water, rock formations, and vegetation. Comprised of three distinct garden modules, this landscape scene captures a refined Japanese aesthetic through carefully balanced natural elements. The composition includes two circular islands and one rectangular water feature, each integrated with layered stone arrangements, mossy ground cover, and structured planting. Detailed elements include mature bonsai-style pines, bamboo clusters, and flowering shrubs, set against tranquil water surfaces. Each module is designed as a self-contained environment, highlighting the interplay between solid rock, soft foliage, and reflective water, ideal for establishing a serene focal point in a larger architectural site plan or exterior visualisation.

The download is a 401 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a pre-assembled scene for 3ds Max, this asset allows for immediate integration into larger project files. The geometry is organised to facilitate easy scaling or repositioning within a site plan. Professionals should manage the complexity of the vegetation and water shaders through instance-based proxies if necessary to optimise viewport performance. Lighting setups should be adjusted to suit the specific time of day or atmospheric conditions required for the final render, ensuring the water surfaces correctly reflect the surrounding environment.
