Mid-Century Natural Wood Dining Set with Rattan

This mid-century 3ds Max dining set features a six-seater rectangular table and matching armchairs with distinctive cane-webbing details. This dining set exemplifies mid-century design, featuring a robust rectangular dining table paired with six matching armchairs. The table is defined by a clean, minimalist silhouette with slender, splayed legs that provide a light visual footprint. Each armchair incorporates a classic compass-leg structure, characteristic of the era, and features woven rattan inserts within the backrests and seats for added texture. The entire set is finished in a warm, natural wood tone, highlighting the organic grain of the timber. A simple glass vase with foliage is included as a decorative accent.

The download is a 160 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material assignment. The chairs are instanced around the table, allowing for efficient adjustments to the layout or count. Users should verify the pivot points at the base of the legs for precise floor-level placement. Materials are set up for standard rendering workflows, enabling quick adjustments to wood reflectivity or rattan bump maps to suit the specific lighting conditions of the architectural visualisation scene.

Ideal for residential dining rooms or boutique hospitality spaces, this set brings a warm, organic aesthetic to contemporary interiors. It pairs well with minimalist decor or other mid-century pieces, providing a balanced, functional focal point for open-plan living areas. Professionals searching for timber dining furniture, cane-detail seating, or mid-century style dining arrangements will find this set highly versatile. It is suitable for use in high-end residential projects, hotel dining areas, and modern apartment show-home visualisations where a cohesive, curated look is required.
