About this asset

This mid-century gold metal starburst wall decor for 3ds Max features a geometric grid frame with a central white marble inlay. This decorative wall piece is defined by a geometric, star-studded metal grid finished in a metallic gold tone. The structure radiates from a central circular focal point, which contains a polished white marble inlay with grey veining. The starburst motifs are distributed across the intersection points of the thin metal frame, creating a balanced, symmetrical composition reminiscent of space-age design aesthetics. Measuring as a flat, wall-mounted sculpture, the piece provides a strong visual statement through its juxtaposition of industrial metalwork and the organic, luxurious texture of the inset stone element.

The download is a 5.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single mesh object. Users should ensure the pivot point is aligned with the rear plane for easy wall placement. The material setup includes distinct shaders for the metallic gold finish and the marble texture; map these using standard UV coordinates. Adjust the reflection and glossiness values on the metal to suit your scene lighting, and ensure the marble specular map is correctly linked to provide realistic depth to the central stone inlay.
