About this asset

This mid-century 3ds Max model set features a beige fabric armchair with a sculpted walnut frame paired with a matching side table. This set includes a low-profile armchair and a small circular side table, both reflecting mid-century design principles. The armchair features a solid walnut frame with elegant, sweeping armrests that transition into tapered legs. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a neutral beige textile, providing a clean contrast to the warm wood tones. Beside it sits a compact side table with a cylindrical base and a textured top surface, topped with a small decorative vase. The proportions are balanced, making this an ideal choice for creating a focused reading nook or lounge area.

The download is a 10.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material assignment. Users can apply custom fabric textures to the upholstery or adjust the wood grain mapping on the walnut frame to suit specific project lighting conditions. The geometry is clean and scaled for standard interior scenes, allowing for straightforward insertion into larger architectural models. Ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of each object to simplify placement on floor surfaces within your master scene.

These pieces are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet library corners where a mid-century aesthetic is desired. The neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into various interior styles, from contemporary to classic. When planning a layout, pair this set with a textured area rug or a floor lamp to define the space. Use search terms like lounge seating, accent chair, or timber frame furniture when sourcing assets for your next interior design project.
