About this asset

This luxury 3ds Max bookshelf features a five-bay modular metal frame with integrated marble back panels and a solid marble base. Designed for high-end interiors, this modular shelving unit consists of a slender, dark metal framework structured into five distinct vertical bays. The back of each bay is finished with a large-format grey-veined marble slab, creating a sophisticated backdrop for decor. A solid, dark-toned marble plinth anchors the entire assembly, providing stability and visual weight. The shelves are thin, linear metal profiles that contrast with the substantial stone elements. The unit includes a pre-curated selection of decorative objects, such as books, vases, and frames, which are arranged across the various levels to demonstrate scale and usage.

The download is a 39.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this model is best handled as a single assembly, though the modular bays can be detached for custom configurations. The metal frame and marble textures are separated by material IDs, allowing for quick adjustments to finish or reflection settings. Users should check the pivot point at the base for accurate placement against walls. For optimal render quality, ensure the marble maps are assigned with appropriate tiling and UV mapping to maintain the scale of the veining across the panels.

This piece is ideal for luxury residential living rooms, executive home offices, or high-end retail showrooms where a statement display is required. It pairs well with contemporary lounge furniture or minimalist task seating. Professionals searching for feature wall storage, stone-clad shelving units, or sophisticated room dividers will find this asset suitable for high-quality architectural visualisations. It provides an immediate sense of scale and materiality to any interior project, serving as a focal point in both professional and private design schemes.
