Modern Linear Baffle Ceiling with Integrated Lighting Set

Modern modular linear baffle ceiling set for SketchUp, featuring integrated spot and linear lighting in black and wood finishes. This ceiling system consists of two square modular panels featuring a linear baffle configuration. One panel showcases a high-contrast black finish, while the second presents a warm natural wood aesthetic. Each unit is framed by a perimeter border containing recessed circular downlights. The central field is interspersed with offset linear light fixtures, creating a rhythmic pattern across the slatted surface. The construction suggests a suspended grid system where individual slats provide acoustic dampening and visual depth, making these panels suitable for large-scale interior ceiling installations requiring integrated technical services.

The download is a 13 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these ceiling panels are best managed as grouped components. Users can easily array these modules across a room surface to cover large areas. The lighting elements are typically modelled on separate layers to facilitate toggling during render passes. Apply high-quality wood grain and matte metal textures to the geometry to achieve photorealistic results in external rendering engines. Ensure the model is correctly oriented on the Z-axis before snapping to the underside of the structural slab or ceiling joists.
