Kids Room Scene with Arched Storage and Furniture

This SketchUp model provides a complete kids room scene featuring arched built-in shelving, playful furniture, and soft textiles. This interior scene is defined by a bright, playful aesthetic suitable for children. The focal point is a large, white-painted wardrobe unit that incorporates an integrated arched open-shelf display finished in natural wood. The room is furnished with a circular low-profile timber table, a blue rabbit-ear chair, and a simple wooden stool. Soft furnishings include a neutral textured rug and various wooden toys, creating a cohesive, warm environment. The walls feature a subtle, light-patterned wallpaper, while the overall composition balances functional storage with open play areas, utilising a clean, light-filled colour palette throughout.

The download is a 155 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp file directly into their master project to serve as a base for children's room designs. The scene is organised with logical grouping, allowing for the easy isolation of individual furniture pieces or storage units for use elsewhere. Textures are pre-applied, and the lighting setup is configured to mimic natural daylight, which can be further adjusted by rotating the sun position or swapping the environment settings to suit specific project render requirements.

This scene is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly for nurseries, playrooms, or bedrooms for young children. It works well as a starting point for concept visualisations where a light, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic is desired. Professionals can utilise the individual elements—such as the arched shelving unit or the themed seating—to populate larger residential schemes. The file is best suited for early-stage design presentations and client mood boards, easily pairing with soft lighting fixtures and additional wooden accessories to complete the look.
