About this asset

This 3ds Max wardrobe for kids' bedrooms features a playful mountain-inspired graphic on the doors and integrated open display shelves. The wardrobe unit combines closed storage with open shelving, designed specifically for a children's bedroom or nursery setting. The upper section features four doors painted with a geometric mountain motif in grey and white, accented by decorative star shapes and a 'hello' script. A tall, house-shaped open shelving unit is integrated into the right side, while the base consists of an eight-compartment cubby system for toys or books. Constructed from wood with a clean, matte finish, the piece incorporates warm integrated lighting within the open display sections to highlight objects placed on the shelves.

The download is a 24.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the unit is placed on a level floor plane to prevent geometry clipping. The asset includes separate layers for the cabinet structure, shelving, and decorative elements, allowing for easy material adjustments or toggling of the 'hello' text and stars. Apply standard wood and painted finishes to the primary surfaces, and use photometric lights or self-illuminating materials to manage the subtle glow within the open cubbies for a realistic presentation in your final architectural visualization.

This storage unit is ideal for residential kids' rooms, nurseries, or playrooms where a whimsical yet organised aesthetic is required. It pairs well with neutral-toned bedding, soft rugs, and thematic wall art. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying custom joinery or modular storage solutions for family-oriented interior projects. It functions effectively as a focal point in a child's space, providing both functional clothing storage and accessible display areas for books, toys, and personal decorative items throughout the home.
