Contemporary Off-White Fabric Curved Armchair

This contemporary off-white fabric armchair, provided as a SketchUp model, features a distinct curved silhouette and fluted base detail. The armchair presents a sculptural, low-profile form defined by a continuous curved backrest that flows into integrated armrests. The seating surface is upholstered in a soft off-white fabric, complemented by a subtle piping detail that separates the seat from the base. The base itself is uniquely structured with vertical fluted panelling, adding textural interest to the minimalist design. Its compact, rounded footprint makes it a versatile choice for intimate seating arrangements, offering a balance between ergonomic comfort and modern aesthetic appeal. The proportions are balanced, ensuring it maintains a light visual presence in a room.

The download is a 14.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a project, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. Users should verify the scale against standard seat heights to confirm fit within specific interior layouts. The model is structured for straightforward material application, allowing for custom fabric textures to be mapped onto the upholstery surfaces. For rendering, apply soft lighting to accentuate the curved geometry and the vertical fluting detail of the base, enhancing the depth of the fabric materials.
