About this asset

This Japanese-style walnut tea table set for 3ds Max includes a live-edge low table, woven floor cushions, and a wire-frame floor lamp. This curated set features a low-profile tea table crafted with a rich, dark walnut-toned live-edge slab top, supported by minimalist black metal legs. The arrangement is complemented by two round, low floor cushions, intricately wrapped in natural-toned rope, providing authentic seating for traditional tea service. A contemporary floor lamp with a black wire cage frame and a warm, glowing light source completes the scene. Also included are delicate ceramic tea cups and a small decorative plant, adding texture and a sense of ritual to the overall composition of this traditional-inspired interior set.

The download is a 40 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the native object hierarchy to manage the individual components, such as the lamp, table, and cushions, as separate entities for easier placement. Ensure the floor cushions are aligned correctly with the floor plane to avoid intersection issues. Apply custom light intensity settings to the lamp’s bulb element to suit the ambient lighting of your specific project, and adjust the material maps if you need to refine the wood grain or rope texture density.

Ideal for creating serene, meditative spaces, this set fits perfectly into residential living rooms, boutique hotels, or wellness-focused hospitality environments. It serves as an essential asset for designers working on Japanese-inspired interiors, tea rooms, or minimalist relaxation areas. Professionals looking for assets for a tea ceremony scene or a low-seating living area will find this collection versatile. Pair it with tatami mats, sliding shoji screens, or minimalist wall art to enhance the authentic aesthetic in your architectural visualisation and interior design projects.
