About this asset

This SketchUp model features a pair of contemporary off-white fabric floor-length curtains, complete with integrated fabric tie-backs. Designed for floor-to-ceiling applications, these curtains feature deep, soft pleats that create a natural, draped aesthetic. The fabric is rendered in a clean, off-white tone, providing a versatile, neutral appearance suitable for various interior schemes. The set includes a pair of panels gathered at the mid-height with matching fabric tie-backs, adding a structured, formal element to the design. The geometry captures the realistic fall of the fabric, ensuring soft shadows and natural folds that enhance the depth of the window treatment within a rendered interior scene.

The download is a 69.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import the component and position it relative to your window opening or wall assembly. The model is grouped for easy scaling to match specific ceiling heights or floor-to-ceiling glazing dimensions. Ensure the axis is correctly aligned with the window frame for accurate placement. You can apply custom texture maps to the fabric surfaces to adjust the material finish or opacity, or use layer management to toggle the curtains between open and closed states if the geometry allows.

These curtains are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, bedrooms, or luxury hotel suites where a soft, layered window treatment is required. They pair well with interior styles ranging from minimalist to classic, providing a warm, tactile contrast to hard surfaces like timber floors or stone walls. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing high-specification interior visualisations, specifically looking for realistic drapery to soften the transition between interior spaces and exterior views in residential or hospitality design projects.
