Japanese Low Coffee Table and Floor Cushion Set

This Japanese-style low coffee table and floor cushion set for SketchUp features varied wood finishes and traditional seating styles. This collection includes several low-profile coffee table configurations paired with complementary floor cushions. Designs range from light-toned timber frames with woven rope seating to dark-stained wooden tables accompanied by upholstered square or patterned floor cushions. The set incorporates various tabletop accessories, including tea service trays and game boards, reflecting a traditional aesthetic. The geometry is clean and linear, focusing on low-to-the-ground proportions characteristic of Japanese interior design. Each piece is modeled with distinct textures to differentiate the wood grain, woven fibers, and fabric upholstery, providing a comprehensive library of floor-level living components.

The download is a 29.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these models are organised into components, allowing for easy selection and placement within a room layout. Users can adjust the scale or swap table finishes by editing the material definitions in the materials browser. The low-poly nature of the geometry ensures smooth performance when populating larger scenes, such as tea rooms or lounge areas. Simply drag and drop the desired configuration into your project, ensuring the pivot points are aligned to the floor plane for accurate positioning.
