Japanese Dark Wood Armchair Set with Side Table

This Japanese-style armchair set for 3ds Max features two dark wood chairs with beige fabric cushions and a matching side table. This furniture set comprises two armchairs and a small circular side table, reflecting a refined Japanese aesthetic. The armchairs are constructed from dark-stained timber, featuring a high, slatted backrest and integrated armrests that create a clean, linear profile. Each seat is fitted with a slim, beige fabric cushion for contrast. The accompanying side table is minimalist, consisting of a simple circular top supported by a thin metal-style base. The overall composition is balanced and restrained, suitable for interior spaces that prioritize clarity, structural honesty, and a connection to traditional woodwork forms.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working with this 3ds Max asset, ensure the model is placed on a level surface using snapping tools to prevent floating geometry. The fabric and wood materials are mapped with standard coordinates, allowing for easy adjustment of tiling or texture scale within the material editor. Users should verify that the pivot points are located at the base of each object for efficient placement. As a set, these items can be grouped or ungrouped to suit the specific layout requirements of your interior scene.

This set is ideal for creating tranquil lounge areas, tea rooms, or minimalist living spaces in residential and hospitality projects. It pairs well with neutral palettes, shoji screens, or low-profile interior elements. Professionals might search for this when specifying furniture for boutique hotels, meditation spaces, or contemporary apartments that require a balanced, cultural touch. It serves effectively as a focal point in a seating arrangement or as a secondary conversation nook in a larger open-plan room, bridging the gap between comfort and traditional design.
