About this asset

This Japandi-style bedroom set for SketchUp features a natural wood and rattan double bed, complemented by matching furniture and decor. This bedroom ensemble centres on a double bed frame constructed from light-toned natural wood, featuring woven rattan cane inserts within the headboard and footboard. The set includes a minimalist wooden desk with a slim profile, a matching black-framed chair, and a sculptural, hourglass-shaped wooden stool serving as a side table. A round woven jute rug provides texture underfoot, while a framed abstract line-art print adds a subtle focal point for the wall. The bedding is kept neutral with layered white and grey textiles, maintaining the soft, organic aesthetic characteristic of Japandi interior design.

The download is a 46.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and repositioning of individual items. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric surfaces using the native paint bucket tool or replace textures to match specific project palettes. The geometry is clean and suitable for architectural visualisation, though it is recommended to manage file size by purging unused components before importing into larger scene files to maintain viewport performance and keep the model responsive during rendering.

Ideal for residential bedroom designs or boutique hotel suites, this set provides a cohesive look for contemporary and Japandi-inspired interior schemes. It works well in projects requiring a warm, natural atmosphere, pairing effectively with light timber flooring and neutral wall finishes. Architects and designers can utilise this collection during the concept or development phases to quickly populate spaces, facilitating client presentations or detailed interior studies where a curated, ready-to-use furniture arrangement is necessary for visualising soft furnishings and room layouts.
