About this asset

This Japandi-style living room scene for SketchUp features a grey fabric 3-seater sofa, matching armchair, and wood-framed furniture. This comprehensive furniture scene centres on a 3-seater sofa with a linear, dark-stained timber frame and light grey upholstery. The design incorporates cylindrical bolster cushions at each end, paired with a collection of rectangular and square scatter cushions in neutral tones. The set includes a low circular coffee table, a matching side table, and an upholstered armchair with tapered wooden legs. A circular floor pouf and integrated shelving units complete the composition, which is tied together by a textured area rug. The aesthetic focuses on clean lines, natural textures, and a restrained, balanced colour palette.

The download is a 49.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for easy selection of individual furniture pieces or decor items. Users can adjust materials using the native material editor to match specific project lighting conditions. The assets are scaled for standard residential environments, making them suitable for quick insertion into floor plans or interior elevations. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during complex scene development and rendering workflows.

This furniture arrangement is ideal for residential interior design projects, particularly those requiring a calm, balanced, or Japandi-inspired aesthetic. It works well in living room visualisations, open-plan lounge areas, or high-end apartment staging. Professionals can use this set to quickly populate floor plans, sections, or perspective views for client presentations. It pairs effectively with natural timber flooring, neutral wall treatments, and minimalist architectural detailing, providing a ready-made solution for creating cohesive, professional-grade interior design concepts in both new-build and renovation contexts.
