Indochine Black Wood Double Bed with Painted Headboard

This Indochine-style double bed for SketchUp features a striking painted peacock headboard and a dark timber frame for luxury interiors. This bedroom set centres on a double bed with a dark-stained timber frame, characterised by vertical slat detailing on both the footboard and the lower section of the headboard. The primary feature is a large, central headboard panel depicting a peacock and floral motifs in a traditional Chinoiserie aesthetic. The set includes two matching circular nightstands and wall-mounted decorative panels flanking the bed, finished with intricate blue wave patterns. The bedding is kept neutral with white pillows and cushions, ensuring the elaborate headboard remains the focal point of the composition.

The download is a 55.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy placement within a room layout. Users can apply custom material textures to the bed linens to match specific project requirements. The components, including the nightstands and wall panels, are separated to allow for flexible arrangement or individual use. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for better scene management, and use the native scaling tools to adjust the footprint to fit standard mattress dimensions if necessary.

Ideal for high-end residential master suites, boutique hotel designs, or luxury hospitality projects, this set creates a defined focal point in an Indochine or eclectic interior scheme. It pairs effectively with dark wood furniture, silk textiles, and ambient lighting to enhance the thematic atmosphere. Professionals often search for this asset when designing heritage-inspired bedrooms or curated cultural spaces. It provides a ready-to-use solution for visualising detailed, character-driven interiors without the need for extensive custom modelling of complex decorative elements.
