Grey Velvet Upholstered King Bed with Channel Tufting

This contemporary king bed 3ds Max model features a grey velvet upholstered frame with distinct vertical channel tufting details. Defined by its rhythmic vertical channel tufting, this king bed features full upholstery in a soft grey velvet fabric. The design encompasses both the expansive headboard and the low-profile bed frame, creating a cohesive, tactile aesthetic. The structure sits on slender, minimalist metal legs that provide a subtle lift from the floor. Included in the set is a complete bedding arrangement, comprising a white mattress, crisp white linens, a contrasting red throw blanket, and a collection of decorative cushions in varied patterns and tones, adding layers of texture and colour to the assembly.

The download is a 22.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single group or block. Professionals should check the pivot point at the base of the frame for efficient placement against walls. The velvet material uses standard mapping, which may require adjustment if scaled significantly. Ensure that the fabric textures are correctly linked in the material editor upon loading. For high-quality visualisations, consider applying a subtle displacement or bump map to the channel-tufted sections to enhance the depth and realism of the fabric folds.

Ideal for primary bedroom suites in high-end residential projects or luxury hotel interiors, this bed serves as a strong focal point.
