Grey Marble Sculptural Reception Desk

This contemporary SketchUp reception desk features a sculptural, angular form clad in grey veined marble, ideal for high-end lobby spaces. This substantial reception desk features a singular, monolithic design with dramatic, chamfered ends that create a sculptural profile. The entire exterior is finished in a grey marble veneer, showcasing natural veining and a polished aesthetic. A horizontal recessed channel runs across the front facade, providing a subtle shadow line that emphasises the geometric volume of the piece. The top surface provides an expansive area for administrative tasks, while the rear remains open for integrated workspace configurations. Its bold, angular silhouette serves as a focal point, combining the weight of stone with a clean, modern architectural geometry.

The download is a 67.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for efficient placement and alignment within a floor plan. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the specific project's floor-to-ceiling height requirements. The marble texture is applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted or replaced to match specific project finishes. To achieve high-quality visualisations, users may apply custom bump maps to the stone surface to enhance the depth and realism of the veining during the rendering process.
