About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater grey leather sofa set is a 3ds Max model featuring a coordinating coffee table and decorative throw pillows. This set features a low-profile, long-form sofa upholstered in a soft, matte grey leather with visible natural creasing. The design includes a structured backrest and wide, low armrests, complemented by a selection of loose scatter cushions in varied beige and grey fabric tones. A dark grey throw blanket is draped over the seating area, adding texture. The accompanying square coffee table has a minimalist dark timber frame and a smooth, reflective white top, providing a clean contrast to the softer, more relaxed lines of the leather sofa and its plush cushions.

The download is a 59.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer separation for the sofa and the table, allowing for easy placement and individual material adjustments. The leather and timber shaders are pre-configured to respond to standard scene lighting, though checking the UV mapping on the cushions is recommended if scaling the object significantly. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane when merging this set into a larger interior scene to avoid unnecessary vertical adjustments after insertion.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas, this set works well in spaces requiring a balanced mix of comfort and modern minimalism. It pairs effectively with neutral interior palettes, textured rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying furniture for open-plan apartments or sophisticated seating areas where a cohesive, ready-to-use arrangement is needed to quickly populate a render while maintaining a high level of visual detail.
