About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max scene features a grey fabric wingback armchair accompanied by a white floor lamp and a small side table. The set centers on a high-backed wingback armchair upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, featuring subtle nailhead trim along the front edges and dark timber legs. A decorative navy blue scatter cushion with a nautical sailboat pattern provides contrast. Complementing the seating is a slender, three-legged white metal floor lamp with a conical shade, positioned to hover over the chair. A compact, round side table with a white metal base and a dark wood top completes the arrangement, holding a small vase with delicate floral stems. The composition offers a balanced reading corner.

The download is a 29.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is structured as a collection of individual assets, allowing for easy selection and repositioning within a larger interior project. Users can manipulate the grouping to isolate the armchair or adjust the placement of the lamp and table to suit specific floor plans. Materials are mapped to standard channels; ensure textures are relinked upon importing. The lighting setup can be adjusted by swapping the internal light sources for target-specific photometric lights or HDRI environments to match the desired mood of the interior render.

Ideal for residential interior design, this reading corner setup works well in living rooms, master bedrooms, or quiet library spaces. It is equally suitable for hotel lobby vignettes or boutique retail displays where a comfortable, inviting atmosphere is required. Designers might search for this asset when planning home office break-out areas or adding detail to a staged apartment interior. It pairs effectively with area rugs, floor-to-ceiling curtains, or secondary accent lighting to complete a sophisticated, contemporary residential aesthetic across various project stages.
