About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater slipcovered sofa for 3ds Max features a neutral grey fabric finish and includes two decorative scatter cushions. This three-seater sofa features a relaxed, slipcovered aesthetic with a soft, informal silhouette. The design includes rolled arms and a full-length skirt that conceals the base, providing a clean, unified look. The backrest consists of three distinct cushions, complemented by deep seat cushions that offer a comfortable, plush seating experience. Included are two distinct throw pillows, each featuring a vibrant, multicoloured geometric pattern that contrasts with the muted grey upholstery. The fabric appears to have a subtle texture, suggesting a linen or cotton-blend weave suitable for casual, high-traffic living environments.

The download is a 9.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this sofa into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project file and ensure the pivot point is aligned to the floor plane for accurate placement. The model is structured with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the cushions as separate objects if you wish to swap them out or adjust their position. Apply your preferred fabric shaders to the base geometry, ensuring the UV mapping is scaled correctly to maintain the natural scale of the textile weave.
