About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max modular sectional sofa features a grey fabric finish, integrated side table, and tufted seat detailing. This expansive modular sectional sofa features a combined aesthetic of smooth, channel-stitched upholstery on the main body and a tufted, textured finish on the corner chaise section. The configuration includes a low-profile, integrated open-storage side table at one end, finished in a dark charcoal tone. The seating is supported by a slender, minimalist metal frame that keeps the overall silhouette grounded. Included are three distinct throw pillows in varying grey and cream patterns, which provide a soft contrast to the structured, geometric form of the base units.

The download is a 49.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection of individual components. Users should apply high-resolution textures to the fabric surfaces to maintain detail during close-up renders. The integrated side table is a separate element, allowing for flexible positioning or removal if the layout requires adjustment. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane when merging into a larger interior scene to guarantee accurate placement within the project environment.

Ideal for large-scale residential living rooms, this sofa serves as a primary focal point in open-plan layouts. Its modular nature makes it suited for hotel lobbies, luxury lounge areas, and high-end waiting rooms where flexible seating is required. Professionals often search for modular sofas when designing contemporary interiors that prioritise both comfort and clean, architectural lines. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, area rugs, and minimalist floor lamps to complete a cohesive, modern living space design scheme.
