About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a pair of contemporary grey fabric curtains with tie-backs, designed for realistic window dressing. This window treatment consists of two full-length fabric panels designed with a soft, uniform drape. The curtains are styled to hang vertically with consistent pleats, while the outer edges are gathered and secured with integrated tie-backs to create a structured, elegant silhouette. The fabric appears lightweight, providing a natural fall that pools slightly at the base. The geometry captures the complex folds and tension points typical of textile hanging, ensuring a realistic appearance in architectural visualisations. This set provides a versatile solution for interior scenes requiring soft window finishes and controlled light diffusion.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object group for efficient placement against window frames or curtain tracks. Users can adjust the scale to match specific ceiling heights or window widths. The material slots are pre-configured to accept standard fabric shaders, allowing for easy adjustments to opacity, bump mapping for texture, or colour tinting to suit the specific interior palette. Proper alignment with the scene's light sources is recommended to enhance the depth of the fabric's folds.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hotel suites, these curtains add a layer of realism to interior renderings. They work effectively in both modern and transitional design schemes, pairing well with floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window configurations. Professionals can use this asset to soften hard architectural lines and create a lived-in atmosphere. Search for these as window drapes, textile window coverings, or interior drapery when populating high-end residential projects or hospitality suites where soft furnishings are essential for comfort.
