About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a grey fabric double-layer curtain set with decorative tassels and a sheer inner panel. This window treatment assembly comprises two distinct layers: a heavy, opaque outer curtain in a muted grey fabric and a translucent white sheer inner curtain. The outer drapes are styled with a pinch-pleat header and are held back by matching fabric tassels, creating a soft, draped silhouette. A secondary, patterned fabric panel is visible along the inner edge of the main drapes, adding visual depth. The model is designed to sit floor-to-ceiling, providing a full-height solution for large glazing units or patio doors, with realistic folds and fabric tension throughout the geometry.

The download is a 36.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this component directly into your model space to populate window openings. Use the scale tool to adjust the height and width to match specific project glazing dimensions, ensuring the pivot point is aligned with the top track. Because the geometry contains complex, soft-body folds, maintain the file as a component to keep the model lightweight and responsive. Apply your preferred fabric textures or materials to the individual surfaces within the component to achieve the desired level of realism.

Ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and luxury hotel suites, this curtain set adds a layer of softness to hard-surfaced architectural spaces. It pairs effectively with modern or transitional interior designs, particularly when a sense of privacy and light control is required. Professionals often search for this asset when specifying window treatments for high-end residential projects or hospitality fit-outs, looking for high-fidelity fabric geometry that reads well in interior renderings and architectural visualisations for client presentations.
