About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a curved armchair upholstered in a cream boucle fabric, supported by a dark wood base. Defined by its organic, curved silhouette, this armchair offers a distinctive sculptural profile. The seat and backrest are fully upholstered in a high-texture cream boucle fabric that wraps seamlessly around the frame, creating a soft, inviting aesthetic. The base is constructed from dark, stained wood, providing a grounding contrast to the light upholstery. The seat depth and low-profile backrest are designed to support a relaxed lounge posture, making it a focal point in any interior space. The overall construction prioritizes clean lines and a minimalist approach to modern comfort.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the texture maps for the boucle fabric are correctly linked to maintain the soft, nubby appearance. The object is scaled for standard lounge dimensions, allowing for easy placement within a scene. Utilize the material editor to adjust the wood finish on the base to match surrounding interior elements. Because of its unique shape, consider using a high-quality environment map to capture reflections on the fabric surface and enhance the depth of the upholstered details.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas where a soft, tactile aesthetic is required. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, neutral rugs, and warm ambient lighting. Professionals searching for a statement piece to anchor a seating group or a standalone accent chair will find this model versatile. It is suitable for projects at any design stage, from initial concept visualisations to final high-end architectural renders, particularly in contemporary or japandi-inspired interiors.
