About this asset

These contemporary fabric curtains for 3ds Max feature a layered design with solid grey panels and a distinct navy patterned border. The assembly consists of a sheer white inner curtain and two outer solid grey panels with a decorative navy blue vertical border featuring a subtle floral or geometric print. Suspended from a simple, clean-lined white curtain rod, the fabric displays natural, soft folds that suggest a weighted drape. The contrast between the neutral grey and the darker, detailed trim provides a refined, structured look suitable for various interior schemes. The model is presented as a complete set, including the rod, rings, and the two-tone curtain arrangement, ready for immediate placement in a 3D scene.

The download is a 6.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, import the model and align the curtain rod with the window head height. The curtains are scaled to standard residential floor-to-ceiling proportions, but can be adjusted using non-uniform scaling if required. Ensure the fabric materials are mapped correctly to maintain the pattern orientation on the decorative border. Applying a subtle noise or displacement modifier can further enhance the realism of the fabric folds during final rendering, particularly when using indirect lighting.

This window dressing is ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hospitality suites where a layered, textile-rich finish is desired. It pairs effectively with modern furniture and minimalist interior palettes, providing a soft focal point against neutral walls. Professionals searching for window treatments or soft furnishings will find this model versatile for both daytime and evening lighting setups. It is a practical solution for interior designers and visualisers aiming to add depth and domestic warmth to high-end architectural renders.
