About this asset

This potted Ficus tree SketchUp model features dense green foliage and a natural rattan basket, ideal for adding life to interiors. This decorative indoor plant features a multi-stemmed Ficus tree with lush, vibrant green leaves that create a full, organic canopy. The plant is housed in a textured, cylindrical woven rattan basket, which provides a neutral, tactile base. The soil surface within the container is detailed with small, scattered debris, enhancing the realistic appearance of the asset. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for corner placements or as a standalone feature in a room. The foliage density and branch structure are designed to provide visual depth while remaining efficient for architectural visualization workflows.

The download is a 25.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp file, import the component directly into your scene and position it using the native move and scale tools. Because the model is optimized for architectural rendering, ensure your layers are managed correctly to maintain scene performance. You can apply custom material shaders to the leaves and basket textures to match your specific lighting environment. If using a high-end rendering plugin, consider adjusting the transparency maps on the foliage to achieve better light penetration and realism.

This potted plant is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, and boutique hotel interiors. It pairs well with minimalist or bohemian decor styles, serving as a softening element against hard architectural surfaces like concrete or steel. Professionals seeking to add organic warmth to their visualizations will find this asset useful for staging areas that require a touch of nature. Search for this in your library when you need a realistic, medium-sized indoor plant to populate architectural renderings.
