About this asset

This contemporary curtain and roman blind set for 3ds Max features realistic grey fabric drapes and a matching textile shade. This set includes a pair of floor-length drapes with a classic pleated header and a single, compact roman blind. The curtains are rendered in a neutral grey fabric, paired with a sheer white inner layer that creates a soft, translucent effect. The roman blind features a matching grey textile finish with a clean, folded structure. The folds and drapes are modelled to appear natural, providing a realistic sense of weight and movement. This collection is designed to provide a cohesive look for window treatments, offering both privacy and light control in one package.

The download is a 17.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max project, ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned with the window frame for easy placement. The curtains are typically managed as separate objects, allowing for independent scaling to fit specific wall heights or widths. Apply standard fabric shaders to the geometry, using opacity maps to manage the transparency of the sheer layer. Use modifiers such as 'FFD' or 'Bend' to subtly adjust the drape shape to match the specific geometry of your interior scene.

These window treatments are suitable for high-end residential projects, hotel suites, and modern office meeting rooms where a polished, professional aesthetic is required. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing bedroom or living room interiors, specifically looking for soft furnishing sets that include both primary drapes and secondary light-filtering blinds. They are essential for final-stage architectural visualisations where realistic natural light diffusion through window coverings is necessary to enhance the overall atmosphere.
