About this asset

This contemporary window treatment set for 3ds Max features two grey fabric curtains alongside a brown timber venetian blind. The set comprises a pair of floor-length fabric curtains with consistent vertical pleats, providing a soft, layered aesthetic. Accompanying these is a horizontal venetian blind, rendered in a deep, rich wood tone. The blind features clearly defined slats and cord detailing, suggesting a functional mechanism. The curtains exhibit a natural drape, with folds that imply a medium-weight textile. This combination offers a balanced contrast between the textural warmth of the wood and the neutral, structured appearance of the grey fabric, making it a versatile choice for various interior styles.

The download is a 15.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should apply appropriate opacity or translucency maps to the curtain geometry to achieve realistic light filtration. The wooden blind can be adjusted in height by manipulating the slat geometry or using a modifier stack if available. Ensure proper texture tiling and UV mapping adjustments are performed to maintain the intended scale of the fabric weave and wood grain.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or professional office spaces, these window treatments integrate seamlessly into contemporary design schemes. They work well when paired with minimalist furniture or as a soft contrast against harder architectural surfaces. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapes, or light-control solutions for architectural visualisations will find these assets useful for adding realism to interior scenes. They are particularly effective in projects requiring a clean, finished look in both daylight and evening lighting conditions across various residential and commercial typologies.
