About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge set features a grey fabric beanbag chair paired with a circular side table and a potted plant. The set comprises a soft, unstructured beanbag-style lounge chair upholstered in a neutral grey fabric, exhibiting natural folds and a relaxed silhouette. Accompanying the seating is a compact, contemporary side table with a cylindrical, dark-stained wood base and a clean, white circular top. A small indoor plant in a simple white pot sits atop the table, adding a touch of greenery to the composition. The proportions are balanced for casual lounge areas, providing a cohesive look that blends soft organic textures with the structured geometry of the table base.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical naming conventions for easy merging into larger project scenes. The fabric textures on the beanbag are mapped to support realistic light interaction, while the wood grain on the table base is UV-unwrapped for consistent scaling. Users should check the pivot points to ensure the chair sits flush with the floor plane. The included plant is a separate element, allowing for flexible placement or removal depending on the desired density of the interior styling.

This furniture arrangement is suited for casual residential living rooms, reading nooks, hotel lobbies, or relaxed breakout spaces in modern office environments. It pairs well with minimalist rugs and floor lamps to create a comfortable, inviting corner. Designers often search for this type of set when specifying soft seating for informal waiting areas or contemporary lounge zones. The neutral palette ensures it integrates seamlessly into various interior schemes, providing a functional and visually soft focal point for both residential and commercial project stages.
