About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features integrated wooden side tables and a distinct slatted back design. This 2-seater sofa features a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its dark-stained timber frame and integrated side tables. The seating area consists of two plush, light grey fabric cushions, complemented by a slatted backrest that extends into the side units. Each side table is built into the frame, providing a flat surface and a single storage drawer with a metallic pull. The overall form is symmetrical and compact, making it an efficient choice for smaller lounge areas. Two decorative throw cushions in teal and beige are included, adding a layer of texture to the piece.

The download is a 3.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this 3ds Max model, ensure the object is placed at the correct floor elevation within your scene. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy material assignment or modification of the dark wood and fabric shaders. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the dark frame and lighter upholstery. If scaling the model for specific interior layouts, maintain the proportions of the integrated side units to preserve the intended functionality and overall visual balance of the seating piece.
