About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sectional sofa for 3ds Max features contrasting grey and tan leather upholstery with a central tufted ottoman. The sofa presents a modular L-shaped configuration, blending a dark grey primary seating area with a distinct tan leather central section. The design incorporates a large, square, tufted ottoman piece integrated into the corner angle, providing a low-profile surface that contrasts with the main sofa modules. Two matching tan leather cushions are positioned against the grey backrests, creating a cohesive visual balance. The upholstery appears smooth with subtle texture, while the tufting on the central ottoman adds depth and tactile interest to the overall composition of this multi-tonal seating unit.

The download is a 27.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The geometry is organised into distinct elements, allowing for easy selection of the ottoman and individual sofa modules if repositioning is required. Apply your preferred materials to the leather surfaces and adjust the texture tiling to match your specific camera distance. The model is compatible with standard lighting setups, including HDRI environments, to accurately capture the material reflectivity and the depth of the tufted details.

This sectional is suitable for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment lounges, or boutique hotel lobby waiting areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, area rugs, and floor lamps to anchor a seating arrangement. Designers looking for a statement piece that balances comfort with a structured, contemporary aesthetic will find this model useful for interior visualisations. Search for it when specifying L-shaped configurations, modular leather furniture, or when creating a focal point in open-plan living spaces that require versatile, multi-functional seating solutions.
