Grey and Blue Fabric Double-Layer Curtains

These contemporary double-layer curtains for SketchUp feature a contrasting grey and light blue fabric design with soft, realistic folds. This set of curtains features a layered configuration, combining a solid grey outer drape with a translucent light blue inner sheer. The geometry captures natural, gravity-defying folds and gathers, creating a sense of volume and movement. Designed as a pair, the curtains are depicted with realistic pooling at the base, suggesting a floor-to-ceiling application. The material representation focuses on the textural contrast between the opaque, heavier fabric of the grey layer and the lighter, airy quality of the blue sheer, providing a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 6.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtains are typically managed as components or groups to allow for easy scaling and adjustment to specific window heights. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during the rendering process. Applying high-quality fabric textures with appropriate transparency settings for the blue layer will enhance the realism. The model is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights, though individual adjustment of the vertical vertices may be required to suit project-specific window apertures.
