About this asset

This 3-seater Chesterfield sofa for 3ds Max features a classic cream leather tufted backrest and dark wood side panels. Defined by its signature deep-button tufting across the backrest and rolled arms, this 3-seater Chesterfield sofa presents a timeless profile. The upholstery is finished in a smooth, cream-coloured leather, which contrasts with the dark wood veneer panels integrated into the outer armrests. The seat base consists of three distinct, non-tufted cushions, providing a balanced aesthetic between intricate detailing and clean lines. It includes a set of decorative throw cushions featuring a mix of patterned fabrics and leather accents, secured with central circular hardware, adding a structured, formal character to the overall design.

The download is an 8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Optimised for 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layering to allow for easy manipulation of the cushions and frame. Users should ensure the leather material maps are scaled correctly to the object's geometry to maintain texture fidelity. The model is prepared for standard scene integration, allowing for quick placement within an interior layout. Adjusting the light intensity in the scene will help define the depth of the tufted buttons and the subtle sheen of the leather finish.

Ideally suited for high-end residential living rooms, formal studies, or boutique hotel lobbies, this sofa brings a sense of traditional elegance to a space. It pairs effectively with dark timber coffee tables, brass floor lamps, and plush area rugs to create a sophisticated seating area. Professionals searching for classic, refined upholstery or traditional furniture assets will find this piece useful for staging luxury interior projects, particularly when aiming for a timeless, high-status aesthetic in a formal lounge or executive office environment.
