Glass Vase with Dried Grasses

A SketchUp model of a glass vase with dried grasses, featuring a textured cut-glass base and organic, feathery botanical elements. This decorative asset consists of a clear glass vase with a faceted, diamond-cut pattern at its base, tapering to a simple cylindrical neck. Inside the vessel sits a cluster of dried grasses, including tall, plume-like stalks and darker, slender seed heads. The arrangement provides a natural, textural contrast to the structured, transparent glass container. The model captures the delicate, airy quality of the dried vegetation, creating a realistic silhouette suitable for close-up architectural visualisations. Its proportions are standard for a tabletop accessory, making it a versatile addition to any interior scene requiring organic detail.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component, allowing for easy placement on surfaces such as sideboards, coffee tables, or consoles. Users should ensure the model is scaled appropriately within the scene to maintain realistic proportions. Given the transparency of the glass, it is recommended to apply a high-quality glass material with appropriate refraction settings. The dried grasses are detailed, so consider using layers or tags to manage visibility if the scene becomes complex, ensuring efficient viewport performance during the modelling process.
