Modern Light Wood Slat Partition Screen with Planters

This modern light wood slat partition screen for SketchUp features an integrated stone base and assorted indoor potted plants. Constructed from vertical timber slats with a natural finish, this partition creates a semi-permeable visual barrier. The design incorporates a solid, light-toned stone plinth at the base, which serves as a platform for three rectangular white planters containing a variety of indoor vegetation. The slats vary slightly in height at the lower termination, adding a dynamic, rhythmic quality to the assembly. A singular, taller, solid-faced vertical panel anchors one side, providing structural weight and contrast to the rhythmic openness of the main screen assembly. The overall aesthetic is clean, light, and organic.

The download is a 154 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of the slat spacing or height if required. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily mapped or swapped to suit specific project palettes. Because the plants and planters are separate entities from the main screen structure, they can be repositioned or replaced with other assets from your library to better match the specific lighting conditions or scale requirements of your interior or exterior scene.

This screen is suitable for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces where visual separation is needed without sacrificing light. It works effectively as a focal point in open-plan layouts, helping to define circulation paths or seating zones. Professionals might search for this when looking for timber room dividers, decorative slat screens, or biophilic design elements. It pairs well with minimalist furniture, polished concrete floors, and neutral wall finishes, providing a warm, natural texture to contemporary architectural environments.
