About this asset

This full-length floor mirror is a SketchUp model featuring a light wood frame with integrated rattan cane webbing panels. This tall, slender floor mirror features a rounded-corner frame constructed from light-toned timber. The design incorporates two decorative panels of woven rattan cane webbing at the top and bottom, flanking a central rectangular glass mirror. The proportions are elongated, intended for vertical placement against a wall or within a dressing area. The combination of natural wood and textured rattan provides a soft, organic aesthetic characteristic of contemporary or Japandi interiors. The piece is balanced and minimalist, focusing on the contrast between the reflective surface and the tactile, woven materiality of the cane.

The download is a 686 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and alignment against vertical surfaces. Users can apply custom materials to the timber frame to match specific interior wood finishes. The glass surface is mapped as a separate face, enabling the adjustment of reflection and transparency settings within render plugins. Ensure the component axis is correctly aligned at the base for efficient positioning in your scene, and use the scale tool cautiously to maintain the integrity of the rattan texture mapping.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, dressing rooms, and entryways, this mirror complements spaces requiring a touch of organic texture. It pairs well with light oak furniture, linen textiles, and neutral colour palettes. Professionals might search for this asset when specifying furniture for boutique hotels, minimalist apartments, or spa-inspired interiors. Its clean lines and natural materials make it a versatile addition to various design schemes, particularly where a soft, non-intrusive aesthetic is desired for staging or detailed interior visualisation projects.
