Empire State Building Vertical Wall Art with Sconce

This contemporary vertical wall art piece is a SketchUp model featuring a monochromatic Empire State Building print with a gold-toned sconce. The piece consists of a tall, rectangular print depicting the Empire State Building in a desaturated, architectural black-and-white aesthetic. Mounted directly above the frame is a minimalist horizontal light fixture, or sconce, finished in a polished gold metallic tone. The composition is clean and focused, emphasising the verticality of the skyscraper. The design is intended for wall mounting, providing a balanced visual element that combines photographic artwork with integrated ambient lighting. All elements are modelled for clear representation in interior visualisations, maintaining a slim, unobtrusive profile suitable for modern wall treatments.

The download is a 1.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it directly onto a wall surface within your model. Ensure the wall face is correctly oriented to avoid clipping. The artwork texture is applied as a standard material, which can be easily swapped or scaled if required. Utilise the component's axes for precise alignment along the Z-axis. For rendering, adjust the light intensity of the sconce to suit your scene's exposure settings and add a soft emissive material to the light source.

This wall art is well-suited for urban-themed residential living rooms, modern hotel lobbies, or contemporary office reception areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors, industrial-style brick walls, or clean gallery-white partitions. Designers seeking to add a metropolitan touch to a space will find this asset useful for staging high-end apartments or commercial project renders. It functions best when placed as a focal point above a console table, a sofa, or within a circulation corridor to introduce vertical interest and subtle lighting.
