Eclectic Modern Rug Collection Set

This expansive SketchUp model set features a diverse collection of modern area rugs, offering varied patterns, textures, and colours. This comprehensive library contains a wide array of area rugs suitable for diverse interior schemes. The collection includes rectangular and circular floor coverings featuring geometric motifs, abstract gradients, minimalist neutral tones, and bold graphic prints. Various textures are simulated through detailed mapping, ranging from plush pile finishes to low-profile woven textiles. The set encompasses a vast spectrum of colour palettes, from monochrome greys and blacks to vibrant multi-toned designs. Each element is presented as a discrete asset, providing a versatile resource for designers looking to add soft furnishings to their 3D interior scenes.

The download is a 2238 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 100 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these assets are best managed by importing the collection into a dedicated project folder or as a component library. Users can easily drag and drop the desired rug into a scene, scaling as necessary to fit specific floor plans. For optimal performance, keep these assets on a dedicated 'Decor' or 'Rugs' layer to manage visibility. Applying custom materials or adjusting the existing texture mapping allows for seamless integration into various floor finishes, including timber, tile, or polished concrete surfaces.
