Decorative Scholar Stone Collection with Shelving Unit

This SketchUp decorative set features a collection of twenty unique scholar stones displayed within a modern grid-style shelving unit. This collection comprises twenty distinct sculptural stones, each mounted on a unique base, housed within a five-by-four grid shelving unit. The stones exhibit varied textures, ranging from smooth, weathered surfaces to porous, organic forms, reflecting traditional suiseki aesthetics. The shelving unit is constructed with clean, minimalist lines in a light-toned finish, providing a neutral backdrop that emphasises the natural variations in the stone colours—predominantly charcoal, grey, and off-white. Each stone is individually positioned, offering a diverse array of silhouettes and depths, suitable for adding authentic, curated detail to interior spaces.

The download is a 75 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 21 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised as a collection of components, allowing for easy selection, rotation, or individual placement of each stone within your scene. Use the Outliner to manage the visibility of specific stones or to isolate the shelving unit for custom arrangements. Materials are applied as standard textures; ensure your model's face orientation is correct to maintain proper rendering. The group structure is optimised for easy scaling to fit specific millwork dimensions or interior wall configurations during the design development phase.
