Contemporary Brown Wood and Leather Barrel Stool

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a cylindrical barrel-style stool crafted from dark wood slats and a central leather band. This distinctive stool features a cylindrical, barrel-inspired profile defined by vertically oriented dark-stained wood slats. The structure is bisected by a solid, smooth leather band in a neutral beige tone, providing a tactile contrast to the slatted frame. The top surface consists of a circular wooden seat with a visible grain pattern, matching the base. Its compact, drum-like proportions make it a versatile piece for various interior settings. The design balances a rustic, organic aesthetic with refined modern materials, resulting in a unique accent piece that functions as both a stool and a side table.

When using this 3ds Max model, standard placement involves snapping the base to the floor plane and adjusting the pivot point to the centre of the stool. The object is organised into logical sub-elements, allowing for easy material assignment to the wood and leather components separately. Ensure proper scale alignment within the scene to maintain its intended proportions. Lighting setups should focus on highlighting the texture of the wooden slats and the sheen of the leather band to enhance the model's visual depth in renderings.

This stool serves as an excellent accent piece for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies. Its compact size allows it to function effectively as occasional seating or as a small side table next to an armchair or sofa. Designers often select this type of furniture for contemporary or transitional interiors where texture and form are prioritised.
