About this asset

This contemporary decorative set for SketchUp includes floral arrangements and stacked books to add realistic detail to interiors. This collection features four distinct decorative elements: a white ceramic vase with dried branches, a white pot containing a potted orchid, a white rounded vase holding a bouquet of white flowers with greenery, and a stack of art-themed books. Each piece is modeled with attention to natural form, from the delicate petals of the orchids to the organic texture of the dried twigs. The white ceramic vessels provide a clean, minimalist aesthetic that allows the vibrant greens and floral tones to serve as the visual focal point in a scene.

The download is a 15.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are best managed by grouping each item individually to facilitate quick placement on flat surfaces like consoles or coffee tables. Users should ensure that the model axes are correctly aligned to the base of each object for easy snapping. Applying custom textures to the book covers or adjusting the transparency of the vase materials can help integrate these elements into specific render settings. Keep the foliage on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance effectively during the modelling process.

These decorative items are essential for dressing living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel suites during the final stages of interior design visualization. They pair naturally with modern coffee tables, sideboards, or bedside cabinets to create lived-in, styled vignettes. Professionals should search for these assets when looking to add life and personality to architectural renders. They are particularly effective for staging high-end residential projects or hospitality lobby areas where a curated, professional touch is required to enhance the sense of scale and realism.
