Dark Wood Oriental Living Room Furniture Set

This dark wood oriental living room furniture set for 3ds Max features a formal sofa, four armchairs, coffee table, and side tables. This comprehensive furniture collection embodies traditional oriental aesthetics with a deep-toned timber frame and intricate carved detailing. The central piece is a large three-seater sofa flanked by four matching armchairs, all upholstered in neutral, light-coloured fabric with patterned accent cushions. A rectangular coffee table with a white stone-effect top sits at the centre, complemented by two square side tables, each supporting a minimalist table lamp. The set includes various decorative accessories, such as ceramic vases, books, and small vessels, arranged to create a complete, balanced living room composition.

The download is a 57.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this set in 3ds Max, ensure all components are placed within a single group or layer to maintain scene organisation. The geometry is suitable for architectural visualisation, requiring standard physical material assignments to capture the contrast between the dark wood surfaces and the light upholstery. For optimal results, place the arrangement on a neutral floor plane and adjust the lighting to highlight the intricate carvings on the timber frames while maintaining the soft, diffused look of the cushions.
