Contemporary White Solid Surface Reception Desk Scene

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a white curved reception desk with integrated lighting, set against a sculptural wall. The reception desk exhibits a fluid, organic form constructed from a monolithic white solid-surface material. Its design incorporates a recessed horizontal light channel that follows the sweeping curvature of the front facade, creating a clean, high-tech aesthetic. The unit is paired with a large, minimalist backdrop wall that mirrors the desk's curves through recessed linear lighting elements. This composition functions as a complete lobby focal point, including the desk, the integrated feature wall, and the surrounding spatial context. The proportions are wide and low-profile, intended to anchor professional corporate environments while maintaining a sleek, modern appearance.

The download is a 119 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the component into your project file as a single group. Users should verify the scale against their floor plan before final placement. The lighting elements are modelled as separate surfaces, allowing for easy application of emissive materials or light-emitting textures to achieve the desired glow. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organisation, and consider using a high-quality global illumination engine to accurately render the soft light diffusion.
