About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for SketchUp features an oval white table with sculptural cylindrical legs and rattan chairs. The set comprises a minimalist oval dining table finished in a matte white, supported by a cluster of four thick, cylindrical pedestal legs. Accompanying the table are six dining chairs constructed from dark-stained timber, featuring curved backrests and seats woven with natural rattan cane. The organic texture of the rattan contrasts with the clean, smooth surface of the table, creating a balanced aesthetic. The set is presented on a textured, light-toned area rug, which anchors the composition, providing a cohesive look suitable for modern interior design schemes requiring a blend of comfort and style.

The download is an 11.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can adjust the placement of individual chairs to suit different floor plans or delete elements to use the table or chairs independently. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp textures; ensure these are mapped correctly if scaling the model. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient rendering when combined with high-quality lighting setups or plugins. Always check the axis origin to ensure the set sits flush on the floor surface.

This dining set is ideal for contemporary residential dining rooms, high-end apartment projects, or boutique hospitality settings like cafés and small restaurant dining areas. It pairs well with minimalist or Japandi-inspired interiors where natural textures and soft, rounded forms are preferred. Professionals searching for a balanced dining arrangement will find this set useful for quick visualization of open-plan living areas, breakfast nooks, or formal dining spaces. The neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of architectural material boards.
