About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sofa set for SketchUp features black leather upholstery paired with a natural wood frame and coffee table. This sectional sofa set comprises a low-profile L-shaped unit with a chaise lounge and a matching rectangular coffee table. The sofa features a robust, exposed natural wood frame with horizontal slatted detailing on the base and armrests. The seat and back cushions are finished in black leather with a tufted, grid-patterned surface. The accompanying coffee table reflects the same material palette, featuring a solid wood frame with a lower shelf and a dark, sleek top surface. The set presents a balanced, structured aesthetic suitable for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 38.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a living room scene. Users can apply custom material textures to the wood or leather surfaces to match specific project requirements. Because the sofa and table are separate components, they can be positioned independently to suit various floor plans. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and performance when working within larger architectural layouts.

This sofa set is well-suited for residential living room designs, particularly in contemporary or transitional interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, area rugs, and neutral wall tones. Architects and interior designers might specify this piece for open-plan apartments, family homes, or lounge areas where a durable yet stylish seating solution is required. Search terms such as 'modern wooden sectional', 'black leather sofa set', or 'living room furniture configuration' will help locate this model in a busy project library.
